This Stage now means that you have decided that the Job will be done or priced by a outside Building Contractor who will be required to submit a quotation for this type of work.

As you can see from the screen shot above no prior Quotations have been raised for Works Order Number 26, therefore you should click on the Raise Quotation button to proceed.

The TPM Software copies all the relevant information onto the Contractors Quotation Request Form and all you have to do is Input the Contractors Account Number or look for the Contractor in the lookup list which is sorted in Contractors name order.

The TPM software can send the Quotation via E-Mail, Fax and of course in Pdf, Rtf, Txt or in print format as a Works Order as seen below.

Once the Contractor has received the Quotation Invitation they are now in a position to arrange a Inspection and complete your Quotation. Thereafter the Contractors quote information is transferred onto the appropriate Quote Number for acceptance.

As you can see below the Quote Number 3 now forms part of the Job Costing Detail under Quotations Tab for Works No 26. The TPM software allows you to add with ease any amount of quotations from different suppliers. Important to note is the ability to accept a quotation simply by Checking the Accepted Check Box as shown below. This means that this Job Quotation will be acceptable and will be included in the pricing of Works Order 26.

Therefore when this Job is completed the Accepted Quote will be available to be compared with the contractors invoice when it arrives at your desk (See Statistics).

After confirmation of acceptance the Works Order will allow the Contractor to carry out the Specific Job with all the relevant information contained on the Works Order Number.
