Technology Property Management
Module - Job Costing.
The Job Costing Software in TPM incorporates many important features for Property Management including Costing and Profit Analysis.
The Main Integrated Modules are:-
9. Purchase Order Requisitions
6. Material Inputs
The Material Element of a Job can be inputted using two different methods.
a) In House Stock Control

The In House Stock of Materials can be setup with the appropriate Sizes, Unit of Sale, Supplier, etc.
When inputting onto the Job Costing screen the user has only to enter the appropriate Stock Code or search by Description from a Lookup List as shown below.

b) Contractors Material (from quotation)

As you can see your direct costs, of either paying a sub-contractor for this Material or using the company stock materials, is entered into the Material Rate field allowing you to put an Uplift by percentage on the rate. The Landlord will only see, on his Invoice, the marked up Material rate appropriate to the specific Job. This means that you have effective control over your profit margin when managing company stock or indeed when being supplied by a outside contractor..
When you wish to input the contractors Material element onto the Job Costing Material Tab, all you need do is type in the Product ID code i.e. JN26 and the preset Material rate will appear as shown below:-

Additionally if using In House Material, all you need do is type in the preset Material code i.e. EXCELET019.

The TPM Software will only calculate the Total
Material Elements that have been checked for Acceptance. The Material element
plus the marked up percentage will be applied to the Landlords Invoice and
consequently posted into Sage.
