Technology Property Management
Module - Job Costing.
The Job Costing Software in TPM incorporates many important features for Property Management including Costing and Profit Analysis.
The Main Integrated Modules are:-
9. Purchase Order Requisitions
5. Labour Inputs
The Labour Element of a Job can be inputted using two different methods.
a) In House work force

The In House work force can be setup with the appropriate information regarding their particular Trades and work rates as shown below.

As you can see your direct costs, of either sub-contracting this labour type or paying from the company payroll, is entered into the Labour Rate field allowing you to put a Uplift by percentage on this rate. The Landlord will only see, on his Invoice, the marked up Labour rate appropriate to the specific Job. This means that you have effective control over your profit margin when managing In House Trades.
b) Contractors labour (from quotation)

Again all outside Contractors Rates can be preset on the TPM software allowing easy duplication of data input. The Landlord will only see, on his Invoice, the marked up Labour rate appropriate to the specific Job. This means that you have effective control over your profit margin when managing Contractors.

When you wish to input the contractors labour element onto the Job Costing Labour Tab, all you need do is type in the a/c code i.e. JOHN100 and the preset Labour rates will appear as shown below:-

Additionally if using In House Labour, all you need do is type in the preset Labour code i.e. STAFFJOE.

The TPM Software will only calculate the Total Labour
Elements that have been checked for Acceptance. The labour element plus the
marked up percentage will be applied to the Landlords Invoice and consequently
posted into Sage.
